For origins of family, being son of a father cabinetmaker, I have always been in contact with a malleable and warm material as it is the wood, loving the properties of modeling, as well as the possibility to give a real and tangible shape… to your own thoughts… to your own emotions…

I believe that the charm of a sculptural Work lies in the fact of being able to give life to a Work endowed with it’s own real dimension and therefore able to participate in the same environment in which we live ourselves, made of lights and shadows.

I like to recall how Leon Battista Alberti, in his treatise “De statua”, defined as the ultimate aim of sculpture the imitation of Nature.

I love to include in my works the following elements:

Openings in… Windows… symbol of an opening on the world… a way to take a look… a trial to make a reflection… a way to understand…

Lyrics… tangible signs of human culture… keys to the various fields of knowledge… symbols of the intellect… and of that infinite desire to research and understand the meaning of everything…

Balloons with… Ribbons… elements of joy and simplicity, wonder and carelessness, a way to see the essence of things with pure and simple eyes… without preconceptions…
